My second version in this series of burning sacred hearts linoleum prints. This one is my new favorite. The tangle of fire has gotten more complex, and the center of the heart almost feels anatomical. The heart itself is a little off center and surrounded by more of the background noise. The word Love appears at the bottom and a quick gesture of a tree on the left. I like to think of all this as a birthing ground for love. A seed was planted for Love and it grew into this chaos.
Printed on 8”x10” Strathmore lightweight paper. The image is 5”x7”

I plan on reducing this image down for a new edition coming soon. This means I will carve away the background around the heart and create a new edition.
